Hello, I am trying to create a file layout of 3.5GB, 122 directories and 8,500 files spread across the directory structure. This is what i have and i can't figure out if this is something fio can do. [thousand-files] directory=/tmp/fiojob filename_format=a/b/c/($jobnum%69)/$jobname.$jobnum.$filenum ioengine=posixaio nrfiles=72 size=3500M bs=8K rw=randread iodepth=128 openfiles=1000 numjobs=1 group_reporting=1 runtime=600 When I run this it doesn't do the mod function and just creates the string repr as the directory name. Is there any way to achieve the file layout I need? Many thanks, Don
