I've found someone who's going to get me a range of the JEDEC docs I need. Plus I'm receiving other info on other possible test setups that could be better. My 1st and 2nd postings have tarfiles that contain all of the test files and test data. Others have looked them over already have suggested some things to look at. But the " How do <>rw and <>rd_wr disk tests work" posting wasn't about that. It was about getting info on how fio testing works for the different test modes it supports. Can you share the fio script/command line you are running and what your performance issues are ? There are many ways to do IOs to storage.
