I don’t know of any method to have a process on the OS issue instructions that would bypass the RAID controller’s cache. I hate to say it, but the only really effective way of ensuring you are not measuring the cache is to ensure that your test file (or files) are larger (like 4-5 times) than the amount of memory in the RAID controller.
