After the install completed, the DomU guest said it was now going to
reboot and I should remove any CD's.
Then the DomU disappeared.

I find out that the new guest gets a kernel panic on bootup
after the bootup menu
I found out that if I add the kernel option "nomxt" to the
grub.conf kernel command for the DomU it gets much farther
in the boot process.
Now I get this on the console:
