gnbd vs iSCSI

Hey all...I've been working with Xen and iSCSI for a while now and
recently discovered gnbd. I was wondering if anybody can comment on
which might be better. It seems that gnbd is more of an enterprise
solution that works only with Linux boxes. It also seems easier to set
up (but this is only from looking at the RH admin guide and a couple of
howtos recommending gnbd). After some searching however it appears that
gnbd is no longer supported as of FC6. Is this because iSCSI will be the
replacement for for network block access or for some other reason?

Thanks for your help!
Chris
