If this happens booting an installed system, be sure to remove 'rhgb quite' from the boot options in /etc/grub.conf. If this is booting the installer, perhaps try waiting longer. Alternatively, there may be some kernel command-line options you can try to further isolate/identify the cause. Thanks, James
