I rebooted the Windows 7 system and now mount.cifs is happy. I don't know what sort of funk my Windows 7 machine was in. It seemed to operate normally. Another Win7 machine could log into its shares. And the Linux error messages about memory issues and the host being down were useless if not downright inaccurate. -- Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX N2469R caf@xxxxxxxx www.omen.com Developer of Industrial ZMODEM(Tm) for Embedded Applications Omen Technology Inc "The High Reliability Software" 10255 NW Old Cornelius Pass Portland OR 97231 503-614-0430 -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
