There've been quite a few systems with this chip released by now, so I
don't *think* it ought to be troublesome on its own (though there is of
course the question of its interaction with the display panel).

Usually Broadcom, isn't it? In which case at least you have lots of
drivers to choose from. :)

I don't know of anyone who's tried it yet, like Johann says, it'd be
good if someone could get a USB stick into a friendly store somewhere
and try it.
