Having found an f13 beta (TC0) on the public server I decided to see what it would do. For my hardware, it is certainly not ready. The relevant parts of my hardware are: AMD Athlon Dual core 3800+ GEForce 6100 MSI-7252 motherboard Here are the symptoms with an x64 dvd install. 1) In normal mode, after choosing keyboard and language, the video just started putting out noise. 2) Retrying with basic driver a) The various screens skipped the one that lets me choose the install device. Instead it asked me which of my hard drives contained the install image. Hitting the back button let me choose a dvd install. b) X failed to initialize so the install automatically reverted to text mode. c) Anaconda detected an existing f12 so it offered me the choice of updating or reinstalling(whatever that means since 12!=13). It did not offer me a choice to install a new version. When I chose reinstall, it went through the motion of package resolution so I abandoned. I didn't want to override my existing f12 partition. I haven't submitted any bug reports yet. Which, if any, of these symptoms require one? Did I jump the gun and use a version which wasn't meant for external testing? -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
