Just want to remind folks about the process here. When closing Fedora 13 bugs, use resolution: CLOSED, status: ERRATA. * tk009 reminded the group that additional action items were needed. Join #fedora-meeting for the next BugZapper meeting to discuss further. == AutoQA Updates == * wwoods - development/patch policy proposal - https://fedorahosted.org/pipermail/autoqa-devel/2010-February/000224.html === Depcheck === * wwoods informed the group that there is a working yum-based depcheck script available in git (see http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=autoqa.git;a=blob;f=tests/depcheck/depcheck). * wwoods was working towards adding built-in tests for the script, but realizes that the same built-in tests used to validate yum behavior apply to depcheck, so there isn't need to re-invent the wheel. * Next steps involve thinking about how the updates test process workflow will look. Packages will need to land in some staging tag for depcheck to work it's magic, then tag the packages for the desired repo (updates or updates-testing). * Maxamillion asked whether there could there be something like "chain-test" that is similar to "chain-build" in koji? === Resultsdb === * kparal informed the group that another design discussion was held last week (see recap). * Kparal has begun working on use cases for resultsdb (see AutoQA_resultsdb_use_cases), and is discovering that the use cases are often about autoqa itself, not resultsdb. * jskladan also started drafting a db scheme (png or dia file). === Beakerlib === * jskladan finished the initscript checking test last week. No new updates to share * Had a discussion with benl who pointed out potential licensing issues with re-using tests. Might have to rework the licensing of the tests. === Install Automation === * lili - Updated dvd automated install tests available (uses dogtail). Feedback welcome, see https://fedorahosted.org/autoqa/ticket/107 * Updates include: 1. support DVD boot, with virt-install --cdrom to create VM 2. support local kickstart and remote kickstart file(http,ftp,etc...) 3. user environment checking to run this script 4. some requisite software package check before running 5. use dogtail to pass args to kernel 6. create an additional hard disk to upload and store kickstart file === Packaging === * jlaska - No updates to packaging. Investigating hosting a FAD to help focus packaging efforts without distraction. == Open discussion - <Your topic here> == === https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=569352 === * Kparal provided updated test results on RHBZ #569352 and noted it is specific to image:Echo-package-16px.pngyum-langpack. * Kparal and Jlaska discussed whether this was an Alpha blocker and decided to note it in CommonBugs and wait for Jens feedback to better assess the impact to Alpha testers. == Upcoming QA events == * 2010-01-21 - Pre-Alpha Rawhide Acceptance Test Plan #1 * 2010-01-28 - Pre-Alpha Rawhide Acceptance Test Plan #2 * 2010-02-04 - Pre-Alpha Rawhide Acceptance Test Plan #3 * 2010-02-04 - NFSv4 Test Day * 2010-02-05 - Alpha Blocker Meeting (F13Alpha) #1 (recap) * 2010-02-11 - Test Alpha 'Test Compose' (boot media testing) * 2010-02-12 - Alpha Blocker Meeting (F13Alpha) #2 (recap) * 2010-02-12 - Alpha Test Candidate verification (announcement) * 2010-02-18 - Alpha Release Candidate verification * 2010-02-18 - Color Management test day * 2010-02-19 - Alpha Blocker Meeting (F13Alpha) #3 (recap) * 2010-02-24 - Alpha Go/No-Go Meeting (20:00 EST) * 2010-02-25 - Yum Langpack plugin test day * WE ARE HERE * 2010-03-10 - Pre-Beta Rawhide Acceptance Test Plan * 2010-03-12 - Beta Blocker Meeting (F13Beta) #1 * 2010-03-18 - Test Beta 'Test Compose' * 2010-03-19 - Beta Blocker Meeting (F13Beta) #2 == Action items == 1. maxamillion seeking input from the http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mentors group for guidance on mentor responsibilities 2. continued testing of bug#567346 to further isolate the failure conditions 3. jlaska - update AutoQA_PatchProcess to include fedorapeople.org git repo
