Fedora Kernels

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Greetings:

Within the last week, I wrote into this list because I was having problems with getting kernel*0.40 and kernel*0.44 to work on my system.  Several people wrote back and I finally figured out what I needed to do from them.  I needed to remove [/boot] from the beginning of the line that has initramfs on it.

I understand from a few others here that they were having the same issue as I was!  Once I removed the /boot, it worked great!

Since then, there has been 0.44 0.46 0.47 0.48 kernels released.  Kernel-2.6.33-0.47 was the only one that I did NOT have to remove anything from it.  I am not trying to be bossy, bad mouth, or anything else; but could someone pay attention to what is going on???

Sincerely yours,
Rob G. Healey
