desktop-i386-20100124.18.iso fails to boot from USB stick.

This live image, when copied to a disc, boots successfully from a
USB-attached optical drive. It fails when used from a USB flash drive
created by:

livecd-iso-to-disk --format --overlay-size-mb 1024 --home-size-mb 128 --unencrypted-home fedora/desktop-x86_64-20100124.18.iso /dev/sdd

using the livecd-iso-to-disk script in desktop-i386-20100124.18.iso on an
up-to-date Fedora 11 system.

Failure symptom: the message "Boot error" appears on the display.

I tried this on two machines: Dell Inspiron Mini 10, and ASUS eeepc 701,
with identical results.

The Fedora 12 live image Fedora-12-i686-Live.iso, copied to the same USB
flash drive, works fine on these machines.
