As the title suggests, this is Fedora 12, not Rawhide and not testing. Some might call it stable but the word "stable" does not come to mind just now. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Networking on Fedora 12 Date: Sat, 23 Jan 2010 12:46:14 -0800 From: Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX N2469R <caf@xxxxxxxx> To: Fedora Test List <fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx> The last update I ran broke ethernet networking. The network does not come up on boot any more. To get networking running I had to use the Network Control to disable network manager for each ethernet controller, then manually activate each. Upon reboot, Fedora ignores the activate device when computer starts up checkbox, requiring manual activation. DHCPD must be restarted manually. -- Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX N2469R caf@xxxxxxxx www.omen.com Developer of Industrial ZMODEM(Tm) for Embedded Applications Omen Technology Inc "The High Reliability Software" 10255 NW Old Cornelius Pass Portland OR 97231 503-614-0430 -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
