I just searched the web and found that a few Ubuntu users w/ 2.6.31 kernels
could not build realteks source.

Hrm, how do I look further into this?

Heh, you should bet more often, it's an HP DV6-1030ca w/ 4gig of ram. I
should of searched bz given I also saw that "Broken Bios" message and
chuckled...

I am just putting F11 back on it now (I need it tomorrow all day...) but
I left empty space so I can slap an F12 install on it next week.

Hopefully I figure out how to get the nic working, that makes setting it up
rather hard:)

Thanks!
