In all the announcements I read boasting how Thusnelda [1] (codename for the new version of Theora) is available in F12. It seems to me a little weird that nobody checked that it really works. From my experience, all major theora screencasting apps (recordmydesktop and istanbul) are broken. Recordmydesktop records one frame in several seconds, istanbul records in disgusting quality. This is not what I expect when I read those glorious announcements. I have reported a bug about it [2]. Problem is nobody notices the bug also :) So, I'm just curious, do you have some advice how to draw attention to a particular bug the right people, except from reporting it into bugzilla and waiting perhaps months or years? I mean it for this issue but I also mean it generally for other (future) issues. Give me a hint if you have some. Thanks!
