F12 beta, kde and arrow keys

Has anyone had a problem with KDE having the arrow keys as hot?  I'm a 
heavy console bash shell user and i'm not able to recall command lines 
or edit them with the arrow keys?  The up arrow causes ksnaphot to pop 
up, very annoying
