I have created a new initrd with mkinitrd and this allows me to boot the
new kernel!

So the faulty component is definitely the dracut now, right? I'm
considering to file a bug against dracut.

Glad to see it's solved !             Was about time ,had no ideas left !

You may file a bug against dracut ,but I feel there's some other sting.
