Using a fresh install of Tuesday's 32 bit Rawhide, I tried
setting up a virtual machine running XP. I used the
vista choise per recommendations. An image of the
XP with SP2 install disk was used. This setup has given
a relatively quick install with kvm on 64 bit Rawhide.
In the 32 bit Rawhide case, the virtual machine prints
the usual bios message and then just sits there,
using heavy CPU cycles but not booting the XP install
image.
