I think no,

the bug is (for fedora) relatively old. I suggest to ask first if the
problem still occur, or if the reporter is switch to a newer version
of Fedora and if the problem maybe still exist.

Hmm, I personally disagree about the opinion of "two or more issues".
But this is personal feeling. I thinks this kind is more of a wrong
component. It sounds more to fast-user-switch-applet then gdm, but I'm
not a triage export in gnome.
