I just ran a non-custom install in a VM and everything works as expected. Once hplip was updated to 3.9.8-6, using system-config-printer found the printer, found a ppd for it, and scanimage worked. So the problem with the RPM seems to be with my custom installations, and I can live with that. -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 Angel: Donuts?
