I'm following up on this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=163974 Abiword does not show up in the list of products or apps in bug-buddy It was CLOSED/CANTFIX with the message "Abiword is not tracked at bugzilla.gnome.org, and thus cannot be included in the list of components that bug-buddy is aware of." I'm not sure why it couldn't be set up to report to bugzilla.abisource.com or bugzilla.redhat.com. (It might be nice to document that on the Bugzappers wiki pages.) But we also have the new Automatic Bug Reporting Tool (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/ABRT) which is I believe supposed to obsolete bug-buddy? I did "yum remove bug-buddy", "yum install abrt", rebooted, and then did "service start abrt". The service started OK, but when I gave abiword a "kill -SEGV", nothing seems to have happened. It's unclear to me whether or not that's expected at this point. I just wanted to make sure things were on track for Abiword crashes (and crashes in general) to get into a Bugzilla instance one way or the other. If not, I'm happy to file a request somewhere, but I'm not sure who would need to do what, at this point. The testing instructions on the Features page and at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/Test_Days/2009-02-26 may be a bit out of date, and I am wondering if I am even testing this correctly. -B. -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
