System->Preferences->Mouse->Touchpad->Enable mouse clicks with
touchpad
Is this something that just became available this morning? I see there's a new
xorg-synaptics driver, new gdm stuff, and new control-center stuff, but my old
(12 hours ago) system stops at "Mouse" and brings up a box with no reference to
"Touchpad" nor is there a menu at the "Mouse" level as you seem to imply.
Clarification?
The tab only shows up if there is an X input device that looks like a
touchpad. So your X maybe doesn't see the touchpad ?
I guess it must be treating it as a mouse (it does move the cursor or I would
have filed a bug long ago. Maybe I need to do a total reinstall, although that
is a PITA.
