Hey All, As some of you are aware, I've been trying to track down why f11 doesn't want to do 3d on my g41 chipset and it appears there's a solution in sight. It turns out there's a patch that went into kernel 2.6.30-rc4 that addresses this. I (and others) would like to be able to test if these patch works (wouldn't it be good if graphics on the g41 chipset worked out of the box for f11) but I don't know how to get someone to build a f11 kernel with the patch (presumably in Koji) so that we can test. The bug in question is: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=493307 more information is here: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21095 There is an f12 kernel with this patch, but it fails somewhere during boot up so I can't test to see if it's solves the problem at hand. Is someone kernel related able to assist? Rodd -- "It's a fine line between denial and faith.
