Thanks for that. I'll try the F-11 beta live cd shortly. Just tried it on a usb stick on my eeePC without much luck as it didn't get past the syslinux prompt (the syslinux prompt was a grey shadow of what you usually see) but then I've not tried recreating the stick using livecd tools again.
