Unknown.  If you'd like to test it, you can try

http://sandeen.fedorapeople.org/grub-ext4-support.patch

or

http://sandeen.fedorapeople.org/grub-0.97-43.fc11.ext4.src.rpm

(that's not totally up to date; koji now has 0.97-44)

[PATCH] RFE: ext4 support in grub

I think it's up to pjones whether we will merge this for f11, but TBH
there were more pressing issues than this so it's not had a lot of
airtime yet, and post-beta is a "fun" time to make a significant change
to the bootloader...
