I am sure some of you have seen this:  

[root@riohigh log]# cat boot.log | grep 'WARNING'
ip6tables: Applying firewall rules: WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf.dist, it will be ignored in a future release.

What does allof this mean anyway?

I am? very much surprised no one has mentioned it, and if someone did, it went flying past and did not see it :)  
Are they just friendly warnings?
