I'm a little confused by which kernal command flags I should set.
This is in my grub.conf:
title Fedora (2.6.29-0.218.rc7.git2.fc11.i586)
root (hd0,8)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.29-0.218.rc7.git2.fc11.i586 ro
root=UUID=59aabf06-48ab-40fb-b4a1-9d62aae903b7 rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.29-0.218.rc7.git2.fc11.i586.img
I thought Plymouth replaced rhgb. Does rhgb now mean to enable
Plymouth?
If I remove rhgb I get a text-mode boot.
(I do seem to be getting kernel-mode-setting - I am getting smaller
and more characters than 25x80.)
