The last rsync'd fc11 that installed with pxeboot dates from last
December. Recent versions fail when another copy of Linux
is found on the machine. Today's version starts the X server,
displays a white rectangle, and just sits there blinking the HD
led every second or so.
Speaking of older hardware, I was able to install FC10 on a
768M Pentium III with Nvidia AGP 5??? video. Install
was slow and somehow a user was never setup. The
network setup failed, but a loose cable may have been
a factor. Then again FC10 is known to have a botched
network setup. After some poking and prodding, FC10
seems to be running normally.
