I just tried to update my Fedora 10 System to use Netbeans 6.5 (Platform) for some reason. I ended up with an upgrade of a bunch of software, from texlive to avahi and other low level software (reason is: even platform depends on netbeans-svnclientadapter which in turn depends on ..... which in turn depends on ..... which in turn depends on ....) I suppose you know: All netbeans packages are "noarch" (and run with any Java runtime 1.5 and up). Great! If I don't use svn and therefore don't need svnclientadapter, why do I have to update svn? Isn't we have to a restrictive dependency chain? Or do I miss something?
