OK, so it is confirmed, the Firefox using wine _emulator_ on Fedora is
most probably _faster_ than the _natively_ compiled Firefox.
Now the question is what we can do to change this. Can we change some
compilation flags, some library dependencies, xul or gecko options, some
prefferences in about:config? Are the Fedora/Linux builds lacking any
enhancements that are available in Windows version? Those are the
questions, we should try to find the answer. So go on with benchmarks, but
try to tweak in various ways the FF, so we can beat the emulator.
It makes no sense to compare various systems performace, as the score is
depending on your computer horse power.
The fact that there is FF3.1+ in F11 is no excuse, because there could be
pretty the same situation - will be faster in Wine than native.
