I'll try to do it with direct device name, though. > I've just been bit by the same bug, and yes, using the device name and then regenerating initrd lets Rawhide to boot as a VirtualBox guest. Unfortunately it (for some reason) is very slow, especially for any graphical operation. I'm reduced to only using it to verify that my packages work in Rawhide.
