I was thinking that more:
- freeform
- use it as you usually would
testing would be enough.

But I now have a few extra ideas -

- Comparison between the default (alsa?) IO enabled and pulse IO is useful.

- app is an audio editor, including multitrack recording capabilities, has these changes caused issues, either while IO=normal, or IO=pulse ?

- audio playthrough while recording - ie layering on sounds, is it OK

- is there timing problems ?
