Thank you for introducing yourself. (Pardon the massive snips, but as
you said, it's a long email.) :)

While some may disagree, making an appearance on the forums would
probably be the best way to see what the community (vs. the developers)
think about things. Many times, decisions are made that aggravate (or
break things) for many users.

It might even be worth sending a PM to one of the Admins of the forum,
explaining who you are. I think that many Fedora users simply feel the
developers are out of touch with the user base, be that home desktop
user, sysadmin using Fedora because their job involves RH or CentOS, or
developer (who is not associated with Fedora.)

Welcome to Fedora. It's a lot of fun, actually.

(I'm not any sort of official Fedora person, simply another user, though
I am a Community Manager on the forums--but that means nothing as far as
technical ability, simply that I can be diplomatic at times.)

Anya: I have witnessed a millennium of treachery and oppression
from the males of the species, and I have nothing but contempt
for the whole libidinous lot of them.
Xander: Then why are you talking to me?
Anya: I don't have a date for the prom.
Xander: Well, gosh, I wonder why not? It couldn't possibly have
anything to do with your sales pitch.
Anya: Men are evil. Will you go with me?
