This actually sounds vaguely like an i915 bug that we thought was fixed but may still be ailing some people. For some reason the GPU goes crazy asserting interrupts. It seems that MSI might fix the issue although I think MSI is still universally disabled in Rawhide. It seems strange that you aren't seeing slow rendering as well, however. The bug is #466575 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=466575). - Ben On Thu, Jan 22, 2009 at 7:15 PM, Chuck Anderson <cra@xxxxxxx> wrote: > My Lenovo T61 occasionally goes crazy with interrupts under kernels >= > 2.6.28. powertop shows the situation clearly: > > Top causes for wakeups: > 99.4% (64644.0) <interrupt> : ahci, uhci_hcd:usb5, yenta, > i915@pci:0000:00:02.0 > > How does one tell which device is causing all these interrupts? > > -- > fedora-test-list mailing list > fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe: > https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list > -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
