Compiz works fine with new xorg-x11 packages and older kernel (e.g., kernel-2.6.28-3.fc11.x86_64) System is Thinkpad X61 with Intel 965 graphics. I've BZ'ed it here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=478424 Can anyone provide/verify the command-line command for turning off compiz/desktop-effects? I believe it used to be: "gconftool-2 -s /apps/gnome-session/rh/window_manager -t string metacity" but this settings appears "gone". Is it "gconftool-2 -s /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager" -t string metacity ? tom -- Tom London -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
