Well, the status remains NEW, but I changed the severity to Medium as
High seems excessive for the time being. History does not show as ever
being Low.

Suggestions:
Anything in /var/log/messages or ~/.xsession-errors?
What is the full "command" you used successfully?
Finally, a separate bug should probably be opened for "mute", wouldn't
you agree?
