Live image names

Does anybody know, why the live ISOs have a different name structure 
compared to DVD and CD images?
Fedora-10-i386-DVD.iso
F10-i686-Live.iso

Why there is also not a full "Fedora-10". Is this on purpose? Is there any 
definition how the name should look like. It's bit hard to make a site 
that works OK to serve proper images across releases...
