Hi,I am using xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.9.0-51.fc10.i386 since the previously the xorg was slow. The driver has been improving noticeable during the F-10 testing and now it works mostly without crashing when running with modesetting active. :-)The new driver xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.9.0-51.fc10.i386 is a faster than the previous versions and is evident when reading email with kmail or switching between the different desktops. :-)I have noticed several debug messages and I am sending them to the list. If necessary I can send further details. The xorg server freeze in the previous run, this is what I get at the end of Xorg.0.log.old:RADEON DRM CS failure - corruptions/glitches may occur -12 bufmgr: last submission : r:0 vs g:22016000 w:0 vs v:1158266
That message can also be found in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=471860 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=470789 and perhaps also in other bugs perhaps you can find or add some relevant info there.(For some reason searching for more than "RADEON DRM CS failure" doesn't get any hits. Strange...)
