Sure, but if I use kwin instead of compiz my desktop behaves pretty
wierd. If I for example want to resize a window, it more or less
disappears. Also, I get extra white borders around the windows. I do
not have the KDE4 desktop effects activated. I'm not sure what the
preferred options in xorg.conf for i915 graphics cards is. Any hints
appreciated.

Guess I'll stick with the old kernel until the intel driver gets updated.
