Re: Received your XO? Let us know!

Hi all -

Just wanted to give a quick update on where I am with testing.

I saw the message about needing the 4GB SD card a bit late. As someone else pointed out in another thread, Circuit City has no problem taking the 2 GB card back for a full refund (within 30 days). Problem is, they stopped selling the 4GB version. So I will be ordering mine online and will rush the shipment so that I can get in on the fun.

I did update my XO and have received my dev key. The updated interface is very nice. No problems connecting to my WPA2 network at home either.

Thanks,

 =MR=

Hi all -

I received my XO late Thursday and will be gearing up to begin testing starting Monday. During the day, I am a member of Red Hat's Support Engineering Group with a emphasis on Identity Management/PKI.

When all is said and done, my 6 year old son will be a *very* happy kid. He already has an older Thinkpad 570 that runs a lightweight Linux distro complete with TuxPaint and the Childsplay suite. So, imagine how cool the XO will be!

Looking forward to working with you all.

Hi folks.

As the XO units start to hit the ground, I'd appreciate it if you can respond to this thread with an ack that you've received your XO and a brief intro of yourself. We'll all be working together quite a bit, so let's all get to know each other.

A reminder on getting started: see...
