Hi Leslie,
By 'disable a package at a time,' I'm assuming you mean disable repo[s]?  If this is what you mean, then yes, if I disable the ones that aren't working, the problem goes away.  It's just kind of annoying to accidentally click a repo, like the RPM Fusion test, have it not work and hang up my PackageKit. Thanks for your response.

If you also have yumex installed, you can disable a package at a time to determine the cause..  For example, I had found  there was a period in time when livna or Fedora Test was not available, and the software would hang, waiting for a response.

I'm having troubles with PackageKit sometimes. If I enable a repo that it
can't connect to, such as trying to connect to the new RPM Fusion Free
Testing, it just sits there and says "Enabling Repository (Waiting for
other tasks)" but there's no other tasks. I also can't cancel it
so it's like there's no time out for it trying to connect or something.
Anyone else experience any issues like this?

Chris
