On the Dell box with ATI, I see some screen corruption.  It got better after
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=464853 was fixed, but
I still see some corruption... usually of icons, but sometimes horizontal
bands in terminals.

I guess it's possible that the lockups on the two boxes are from unrelated bugs.
