Setting "root" to sda2 when you are loading from sda7 does not make
much sense.  Either you do not need "rootnoverify" at all or you can do

    rootnoverify (hd0,6)
    chainloader +1

Yes, this was explained in the past on various occassions.  That
"noverify" here really means "do not try to mount and size that
partition".
