I suppose that it is not normal.....I am experiencing same behaviour,
and when I start Yumex sometimes I get the message that another yum
task is running. What and where????
I may have needed a little patience. After a long wait after a reboot,
got a popup that said installation complete. Only installation was a
cli yum update during a previous boot.
All seems to be working now.
