Just wondering if we are still going ahead with removing the need of xorg.conf
for F11 and what's the overall status of that quest.

So far the only problem(s) I have encountered is after installation I need to go to System --> Hardware ---> Keyboard and set the layout of the keyboard to Icelandic.

And I need to have it in dual monitor setup..

Is anyone else testing this or am I the only one..

So what happens if you need to use X on a non-standard setup that is not detected properly by X?

I have problems already on F9 with my X installation not computing the correct font sizes when I use a virtual desktop size. Please see this bug report for more:

Kind Regards,

"not detected properly by X"
You mean when you set the virtual size
out site the supported resolution by the driver...

What's the output of xrandr ?

Is this dual monitor setup?

Just a normal single monitor setup. The only problem I have is with the font sizes not being calculated correctly. Everything else works fine :)

Kind Regards,

Keith Roberts

NB. I'll stick with the US/UK keyboard layout thanks.
