Can you bisect over the recent versions of the driver to find out where it breaks? http://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/xorg-x11-drv-ati/6.9.0/ has the old builds. 'rpm -q --last xorg-x11-drv-ati' will tell you what version you were running before. - ajax
