Here after thursday's (or so) updates I get a blank (no text, most icons
gone) GDM, loging in blindly (this is the only account here) worked. After
today's update not even that works, ctrl-alt-BS does nothing, ctrl-alt-DEL
is broken too. Going through runlevel 3 and to X gives me a background and
upper/lower blank icon bars. Only the power switch gets me out.

I should have mentioned that I am using up-to-date rawhide except for GDM and the ATI drivers. Had to reverted those last Monday to get X and GDM working again.
