It happens at some point or another. I installed the 284 kernel and it worked for me. However I even installed the 290 kernel and it worked! Things like this happen to us at one point or another. I have also needed to remove several kernels that were not working for me :) BTW, thank you for bringing up the printing problem. I am having problems printing as well. We are here and we do read the thread(s).
