Just installed 2.6.26.2-3.fc8 from Koji.

I get a warning message upon boot up, just after the kernel prompt which lets me choose which one I want to use. It simply says:

PCI: NOT USING MMCONFIG

Is this normal? Never saw that message before.

Whoops, I see other messages in my log files now:

Aug 13 15:59:31 www kernel: PCI: MCFG configuration 0: base f0000000 segment 0 buses 0 - 64 Aug 13 15:59:31 www kernel: PCI: BIOS Bug: MCFG area at f0000000 is not reserved in ACPI motherboard resources
Aug 13 15:59:31 www kernel: PCI: Not using MMCONFIG.

Aug 13 15:59:31 www kernel: ACPI Error (dsfield-0139): [CAPD] Namespace lookup failure, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS Aug 13 15:59:31 www kernel: ACPI Error (psparse-0530): Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0._OSC] (Node f78195e8), AE_ALREADY_EXISTS Aug 13 15:59:31 www kernel: ACPI: Marking method _OSC as Serialized because of AE_ALREADY_EXISTS error

Although I have not seen this message on F9 and F10 Alpha I did saw similar messages yesterday when I installed CentOS 5.2 i386 on a HP DL360 G5. Haven't figured out if this is bad and if so how to fix them. Hopefully someone in the know can shed some light on this.

Patrick
