You can hit 'Escape' to see the boot messages. This was in the release
notes.

That probably doesn't do what you want. Try removing all references to
'rhgb' instead, like it says in the release notes.

Thanks. I had read the release notes, but "norhgb" used to work. It was
unclear whether it was now unused. I did comment out "hiddenmenu".
